Nation of Islam has called Barack Obama “the hope of the world”
The leader of the “Nation of Islam,” Louis Farrakhan, is calling the Democratic presidential candidate, Barack Obama, “the hope of the world”, Watchmen on the Walls reports.
Speaking to an audience of 20,000 people, Farrakhan declared that he supports Obama and compared him to the founder of the Nation of Islam, Wallace Fard Muhammad. “The black son of a white mother became our savior,” said Farrakhan. “The black son of a white mother can become the one who will raise America from its knees.”
The Nation of Islam unites all Black Muslims in the US but it has not been connected to other branches of Islam. The members of this organization recognize only the Koran and reject the Bible. They also think that the Last Judgment will begin in the USA. The organization has frequently been accused of racism and extremism.
